Lung cancer took her and the ironic thing is that she wasn't a smoker. However, we suspect it could have been the cumulative years of inhaling second-hand smoke, given that her husband was one.
These past few months has been hard on both auntie and her. While it was sad to be losing someone dear, it was also a relief that the ordeal was finally over and the suffering no more.
