Summer is approaching as the mercury is steadily rising to the 30s (Celsius) with wet weather peppered often in between.
And so it's time for the doggie's half-yearly haircut.
We shave the dog all the way last summer and we thought perhaps this time round, we just shave the body, leaving the fluffy head and tail intact.
Boy, is the dog NOT HAPPY about it!
He spent the past 3 days sulking in one corner refusing to come out to play.
Probably feels naked and embarrassed to come out to the open. Either that or really seething mad with the bad job that his "stylist" has done. Oh the shame!
Before haircut: Throws the tennis ball...
Doggie: Arf! Arf! Arf!... scamper, scamper scamper... got the ball... grrr... flings the ball... Arf! Arf! Arf!... scamper, scamper, scamper...
After haircut: Throws the tennis ball...
Doggie: *sulk*
Well, after 3 days and lots of bribing of apples, he is in a good mood today. Even let me take a picture of him.
Now, can anyone guess the dog's pedigree given that he is now in disguise (or rather the lack of)?

I like small dogs. Easier to handle and have been having them since young. From Pomeranians to Beagles to a mutt that I picked up off the golf course at SICC.

I love dogs, and the Pekingese is my 2nd fave breed after the Shih-Tzu. But my mum is mortally afraid of them, so... *sobs*

He doesn't really notice that the neighbours are laughing at him so I guess he's pretty much ok.

Errm, a shih-tzu? Or a maltese? My dog doesn't really oppose to the shaving part if there's incentive such as food.He doesn't really notice that the neighbours are laughing at him so I guess he's pretty much ok.

I will not reveal the answer just yet. Let's wait for more guesses.

The dog stays with my cousin at the factory. I spend time with the dog everyday at lunch.I like small dogs. Easier to handle and have been having them since young. From Pomeranians to Beagles to a mutt that I picked up off the golf course at SICC.

As long as it's a toy dog, I like. The only big dog that I like is the Golden Retriever. Good temperament, excellent with kids.Perhaps, my next dog would be the Jack Russell? hmm...

I used to have a cat when I was in camp during my NS and in the hostel during my Uni days.
They can be very affectionate at times but other times, they can be gone for days. Sometimes you wondered if they are ever returning.
Dogs are more fun, in my opinion. More "interactive".
