Well, April Fool's Day is just round the corner and what better way to pay tribute to this special day with a Jay-Prank Series. This is a recollection of all the funny stuff that was pulled on hapless victim, all in the name of fun. I may have blogged some of them before and so I won't rehash them again here. After all, I have much much more of the good stuff in my bag of tricks.

So without further ado, here's the first of 5 installments of the Jay-Prank Series.

The year, I remembered clearly, was 1989 when I was in JC2 barely passing my promotional examinations.
1st day of JC2 has got to be my happiest time of my JC life. We were no longer the peons of the school social hierarchy as the seniors have all graduated leaving us to be the new Kings of the Hill.
More importantly, we have fresh chicks!! Muahahahaha......
Oh how fast 365 days has passed when it became our turn to be on the upper echelon looking down at all the newbies in their old school uniforms (I love pinafores!). It was interesting to observe how suddenly the boys and girls were on their best behavior trying their very best to impress each other and especially so with the opposite gender. Oh man.... were we like that 365 days ago? Gee....
So, new school, new year, new environment, new people and new chapter in life.
Let me bring you on a guided tour to the school canteen located on the opposite side of the main building's cul-de-sac. On the wall was this big and long chalkboard the stretches across the length of the wall. It's an ECA board where the various ECAs posts their notices.
The beginning of the year would always be the busiest part of the year for the various ECAs as everybody would be competing for recruits to join them. What you have essentially on the boards during the first week, would be sheets of paper stuck onto the board informing interested parties of the first meeting as well as a blank column for the interested newbies to write down their names and contact details.
That's when we struck the proverbial jackpot of an idea for a prank. Right at the right end of the notice boards there was still a bit of space of the wall where we set up a new column that says "Sun Tan Club". To decorate it, we pasted cut-outs from those beach magazines featuring the sun, the sand, and hunks and babes in their perfect tans.
Then we pasted 2 sheets of paper for them to "sign up". One said "Guys", the other said "Gals". What we didn't expect was the overwhelming response to our "recruitment drive" with the sheets of paper filling up within an hour. We had to constantly refresh the notice board with new sheets.
Anyway, our recruitment drive lasted only 1 day as we didn't want anybody to realise that there was no such thing as an "ACJC Sun Tan Club".
What we do with the papers? Well, we threw away the "Guys" list and we split the booty (no pun intended) of the "Gals" list evenly and start dialing away!!

er.. i hated pinafores... no matter that other people commented that our pinafores look nice but we hated it. However, when there was a chance for us to change our uniforms, we all voted not to, cos.... it was our last year in school liao. ahahahahaha!!!

WAKS..pulling such a prank and dialing the girls' numbers. Quite crazy..yeah. But really funny. Now I feel like such a dork because I never pulled a prank before except for the odd prankcalls I did for my friends (cos some guys kept bugging them). I did a lot of mischief though! bwahhahahaha.
