That's me taking this picture, last Sunday, while stuck in the very very last row of a MD-80 together with a bunch of fellow Koreans occupying the last 2 rows.
What intrigued me was that how come all of us are Asians in Rows 37 and 38? Is there some kind of a racial discrimination going on?
By the way, it is a known fact that passengers in the back of the plane will have the highest chance of survival in a crash. Perhaps, it was my watching of too many episodes of LOST, that I started imagining the aftermath of the crash of this flight.
Wouldn't it be poetic justice that it would be us - the bunch of Asians that got stuck to the back of the plane to be the only ones to walk out alive? Muahahahahaha.......
Anyway, the flight turned out fine, albeit a slightly bumpy landing as the plane hit the tarmac diagonally. I guess I am glad to report that everybody survived to live another day.
Life goes on for everyone.

No kidding, lah. During a stormy flight to Chicago this past February, the captain requested five to six passengers to move to the middle section of coach class.

Why were Asian passengers sent to rear rows? Hmm, I suspect there were too many fat ang moh passengers on board and the captain needed skinny guys to sit at the back to balance the load. It's a little ridiculous to be paying so much for an air ticket to hang your life in the air. =X 3. JayWalk left... Everton: There were in total 8 of us in the last 2 rows. :(
Derrick: Pardon me if I need to correct you but statistics-wise, air travel is the safest mode of transportation.

But having said that, although I love flying (cos it always means that I'm going somewhere to relak. muahahah!), there is always a fear that 'something may happen'. =S
