This is one of my favourite dish at a CharChanTeng just outside my factory.
It's called 四宝饭 (Four Treasures Rice). The so called Four Treasures are Hum Dan (Salted Duck Egg), Char Siew (BBQ Pork), Yao Gai (Soy Sauce Chicken) and Siew Ngor (Roast Goose), generously smothered on top of the rice which you could hardly see underneath all the goodies and of course the obligatory portion of Siew Pak Choy (chinese lettuce) to give it the impressive of a balanced meal.
Truth to be told, the yummy part aren't the meat but the rice itself. How so? Because of all the meat on top, the juices all flow downwards only to be soaked up by the rice.
SEDAP!!!!!!!
There is a life's lesson there to be learn. As humble as the rice may be, it was the best part of the entire lot.
p.s. As you can see in the picture, there is something "extra" there. I called it the icanhasMaLingzLuncheongMeatz Four Treasure Rice. wakakakakakakak.....

Some places in HK even offer SIX Treasures Rice, like "Canteen" near my office (a nicer clone of Cafe de Coral and Maxim's MX Cafe) Besides the four "treasures" that you mentioned, it also has slices of "red sausage" (not lap-cheong but the thicker meatier type) and boiled squid.
That plus a milk tea (total HK$39) make for a splendid lunch, which I have once a week.

I faint every time when I see my ang moh colleagues and students pour black soy sauce into their steamed rice! They don't know the proper way to enjoy a bowl of delicious rice :-)

that time i went hkg with my friends, one of them, a guy, ordered 八宝饭.. i forget what it consisted liao.. super tempting but sinful.. i only dare to order 2 meat.. dont dare to eat too much.. the shop we went is near the toy or movie collectibles museum..
