She is now bottomless as I am typing coz Grandma decided that her pinafore needs some final touches and is busy sewing away.
Everybody in the house is scrambling to something related to Faith's first day.
Grandma, as I was saying, was re-sewing the name patch on the pinafore, which had earlier fallen off. Lousy iron-ons.
Faith, the bottomless, is sitting next to me grabbing an early lunch and watching me pound away at the keyboard with a picture of her on my laptop screen.
Wife is preparing her pink backpack school bag which is the same size as Faith's upper body which kinda made her look like a life-size ninja turtle. (Whole family facepalmed the first time she tried on the backpack.)
That, according to the wife, is only temporary as Faith should be able to outgrow the size of the bag by next year.
That is, assuming she haven't lost the bag sometime this year.
In 25 minutes time, we will put Faith up on her school bus and then we will drive over separately to meet her at school and check out her first day.
I will be heading for work thereafter while the wife will stayed on and wait for her to show up for recess.

Your girl looks great in PLMGPS uniform, mine just finish P6 and starting Sec 1 today. It's a really good school and standard getting better by the year. Time flies, enjoy parenthood before they start answering back to you. Cheers 4. venu5sian left...

that reminds me of my daughter first day primary one two years ago. i remember I excited, i remember i do the same which put her up on her school bus and then I will drive over separately to meet her at school, i remember I so worry that she might not know how to buy food in canteen, i remember I meet up with the canteen boss try to ask him to take care of my little girl, then i realize how I over-react, she was an independent girl that i might be underestimated her :) You have a beautiful and smart girl.

I still say she will make a fine model one day. :P 7. msvindicta left...
anyway, don't worry about the bag lah. most p1 students always get overwhelmed by their bags. stuff too much textboooks.
and then slowly, we learn to dump all the heavy textbks in sch under our desks. heh.

David: Welcome to the blog. I agree. PLMGS is a good school with good values.
Venus5ian: That's what I did too! Put her on the school bus then driver over separately! Didn't cham siong with the canteen boss though.
Bear: You are too bladdy free to even think of something like that.
ruok: ... and I'll make a fine manager of a fine model one day.
msvindicta: Earlier I was asking how come never get one of those bag with luggage arms and wheels. Apparently the school advised against them as they are heavier and not suitable for stair climbing.
