Here I am sitting at the boarding gate at Hong Kong airport as I wait for my flight back to Singapore to close out yet another year.
Christmas Eve, this year, was a non-event for me as I worked through Chritsmas Eve, had a simple dinner then head back to the apartment to pack my luggage for the trip back to Singapore.
Christmas has started to lose its meaning to me. Perhaps, I will find another more meaningful time in December 2013 to come back.
StanChart Marathon for my RunForFunds project?

Wish you a safe flight, bro:) As for festive seasons losing meaning, I'm experiencing something similar. I've lost quite a number of important relatives over the years so Hari Raya is slowly starting to be a very low-key affair. I guess its up to us individually to find our own meaning for such festiveness, and share it with the younger ones in order for the flame to continue.

Arrenn: It is easier if there are people around you. Tougher when you are out there on your own who doesn't understand what Christmas (other than just another commercial excuse to party), worse Hari Raya is all about.
